Weirdest Mannequins Ever - BEWARE of the Swirly Head Aliens/People

I honestly forget where I saw these horrifying things, most likely somewhere in Central Ohio. These girls definitely caught my eye. I thought the aliens had arrived to take over the world!

These crazy ladies/aliens look like they're coming after you in some sort of army with laser beams and swirly heads! :0 very, very scary.

1970's/80's Vintage Janine Holographic Gold Shimmery Open Back Dress with Italian Fabric worn by Celebrities Size 2-6//FREE US SHIPPING

This is one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen! You will most definitely be the life of the party in this! It is vintage Janine and is the same dress worn by both Actress Drew Barrymore and Stylist Rachel Zoe! Note: This dress is not the ACTUAL dress worn by these celebs. If you look closely, each dress has a unique fabric pattern so it's like having one of a kind but still achieving the look! The fabric is Italian made and is really quite something. It almost looks like tile or some sort of mosaic. The gold on the dress is stunning, it is a very chic light gold. This is truly an eye catcher! I am a size 6 and it fits me quite well. My sis (model) is a size 2 or 3 and is petite so this dress can work for several different body types.

Cat Eye Glasses and The Doom Generation

I love these cat eye glasses. I found them a long time ago at a thrift store but I can't remember where. They are prescription sunglasses that I can wear because the script happened to be mine. They remind me of Amy's glasses in The Doom Generation. You can watch the movie on netflix watch instantly.

1980's Golden Art Deco Piece of Gorgeousness

So I got this 5 foot tall 1980's gold tone glass shelf display. I bought it at VOA (volunteers of america) on the last tuesday of the month (50% off everything day). It was marked $3.97 or something so it ended up being $1.90ish! It was a bit dirty and it could use a fresh coat of gold but for under $2 I don't really care. I just love it, I consider it the centerpiece of my room now.

The First Post

Ok, so I love to buy stuff and I figure I should have a place to gab about it.  This blog will mostly deal with my shopping hauls and compulsions. I like to collect vintage, especially from the 1980's and 1990's so a lot of the stuff I show will be from that era. However, I'll also talk about buys such as groceries and other sorts of products. My writings would be most helpful to twenty somethings with childhood nostalgia and not a ton of $$$.

A little about me, I'm a 22 (going on 23) year old who never wants to get older. I'm a pretty bad writer so don't expect much in that department. Oh yea, I'm a girl btw. I like music, fashion and $$$. I love anything shiny, especially if it's gold or pink. I currently live in Ohio but want to be in California :(

I have a dog too, his name is Georgie and he's a 1 year old mini schnauzer. I bought his fine gold chain and cheetah collar out of PetEdge catalog. The crochet blankets were all thrifted.
